| Adding bottles | Use Quick add on the Bar tab, or Scan shelf and tap the labels you want. On a device without a camera, choose a photo from your library. |
| Voice says “Voice needs Mic & Speech access” | Open iOS Settings › Barwise and turn on Microphone and Speech Recognition, or tap Type instead. |
| Coach asks for consent again | Turn on Share bar context for drink suggestions in Barwise Settings, or tap Allow suggestions. |
| “Coach unavailable” or offline notice | Check your connection and tap Draft again. Your bar and saved recipes still work offline. |
| “Photo Library add access denied” | Tap Open Settings and allow Barwise to add photos, then tap Share to Photos again. |
| Recipe tastes off | Open the saved recipe and use Too sweet / More sour / Stronger, then Make again. |
No. 02How to reach us and what to include
Email us with your iPhone model, iOS version, the Barwise version (shown in the App Store), the screen you were on and the exact message you saw. A screenshot helps.
Please do not send passwords or payment details. Avoid sending photos of people; a description of the bottles is enough.

Barwise has no in-app purchases. For questions about an App Store charge or a refund, use Apple’s Report a Problem page; we cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.
No. 04Lost bottles or recipes
Your bar list, recipes and shelf photo are stored only on your device. We have no copy and cannot restore them if the app is deleted or the device is lost or reset. Drink cards you exported to Photos stay in your Photos library.
No. 05Safety first
Barwise is for adults of legal drinking age. Coach recipes are AI drafts — check every ingredient and amount, watch for allergens, and never drink and drive. If you or someone else may have alcohol poisoning, contact local emergency services immediately.
No. 06What we cannot help with
We cannot give medical, nutritional or legal advice about drinking, help with DeepSeek accounts or other third-party services, or troubleshoot other apps. For how DeepSeek handles requests, see its privacy policy.
